Return Policy

Thank you for your purchase from ECS. We hope you are happy with your purchase experience. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund, store credit, or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

RETURNS

All returns must be within Thirty (30) days of receiving the merchandise. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging. 

RETURN PROCESS

To return an order/item, please email customer service a written notification at customerservice@ecscabinetryca.com to get a Return Authorization number. The written notice must be received by customerservice@ecscabinetryca.com within 20 days of receiving the products. The written notification must include a list of all the items being returned and the reason for return. Please send your return to the following address:

Please note, customer will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail/ship your return.

 

Please Note: A 15% restocking fee will be charged for all returns.

 

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item/order, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least thirty (30) days from receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

EXCEPTIONS

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Pre-Assembled cabinets
  • Any Opened Boxes (PLEASE MAKE A DOUBLE CHECK ON THE ITEMS BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BOX)
  • Special order items (All doors or parts that require opening boxes)
  • Items not in their original packaging and condition.
  • Clearance items
  • Flat Panels
  • Sample Doors

Offering the Best quality Cabinets is one of our top priorities. And we will do our best to protect all individual Items and Pallets. We also want to make sure that we are standing behind our production all the time in terms of any Defective parts, damaging items either from shipping, loading or unloading. Please see the terms below regarding how we take care of the defective or damaging parts and items.

Items Missing:

Warehouse associates will pull the order base on your order form/ Packing Slip from sales department. There are two different departments’ needs to sign off the packing slip before we load it into the shipping company’s truck. And we will take pictures of the boxes or pallets that showed your complete order and we will save in our system too.

 If you find out your order was missing items that you paid for, we will ship you the replacement item out.;

If you find out your order was missing items that you didn’t pay for, you will need to order the item and paying for it’s shipping cost.

 

Receiving Wrong Items:

If warehouse associates sent you the wrong Items, don’t assemble or trying to make it work. Take a picture of the Items that you received, Email the pictures to customerservice@ecscabinetryca.com with your Invoice # and request the correct items that you paid for. We will send you the correct items with returning Labels for the Incorrect Items.

Damages on areas that not noticeable/ visible:

Any damages to areas that will be covered after assembly or install that will not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet are considered acceptable. This normally encompasses: small scratches, dings, or damages to the exterior back panel, exterior side panels, kickboard, and any other covered areas as the back of the cabinets will be against the walls, the sides of the cabinets will be against another cabinet, wall, or covered by a skin panel, and the kickboard will be covered by a toe kick panel. Damages that affect the structural integrity or severe damages that are not acceptable will be replaced, or if you choose to fix and accept the part, you will be reimbursed a percentage of the cabinet cost based on the damage.

Damages on areas that exposed:

Any damages to areas that would be seen after assembly and install such as the doors, drawer faces, frames, etc will be replaced, but pictures of the damages must be sent before assembling and installing the cabinet.

 

Warping Doors:

Due to the natural properties of solid wood, some larger sized doors may experience warping. Slight warping less than 1/4” is considered acceptable as the hinges can be adjusted to account for us. Any doors that are badly warped will be replaced.

**All damages and pictures must be reported and sent to us before assembling the cabinets, so that replacements can be sent at no charge. If pre-assembled cabinets are ordered, all damage and pictures must be reported and sent before installing.

**All replacements are shipped through UPS Ground. Replacement items normally take 2-3 days to process and prepare and the shipping time will vary based on your location. We do not expedite or overnight any replacements. You have the option to have the replacements expedited, but will need to pay the difference between the UPS Ground and expedited shipping fee.**

**All replacement items will be shipped in one shipment. If you find any damages or issues, take a picture and note which part and cabinet size it is for. After going through the rest of the items and boxes, email us pictures of the issues and list of replacements needed and we will have them all shipped together.

**To expedite the replacement process, please either name the image files the specific damaged part, include a small sticky note or paper in your picture indicates the cabinet size and part, or break down and describe each image in the email.

 

Reasons of warped Doors: 

When the moisture content in wood is greater than the moisture in the air around it, warping will occur. If an unsealed panel of the solid wood cabinet door starts to twist and warp, it is almost always because of moisture. Either due to water, high humidity, or some nearby dripping water.

Warped is indicated when:

12" or less - gap is greater than 1/8"

13" to 24" - gap is greater than 1/4"

25" to 41" - gap is greater than  1/2"

 

 

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders may be canceled by written notice via email  to customerservice@ecscabinetryca.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the order being placed without any penalty or cost to you. Once the written notification is submitted, if you do not receive a confirmation from ecscabinetryca.com within 24 hours, you must contact us again to receive confirmation. Due to our strict timeline of striving to ship out RTA orders within 2 to 3 business or pre-assembled orders within 3 to 5 business days of being placed, cancellations after forty-eight (48) hours are treated as normal returns *see return policy*. This also applies if you currently have an order and a new sale begins. You can cancel the existing order and place the same order with the new sale, but the forty-eight (48) hour cancellation policy will apply.

Please Note

  • Any cancellations beyond the forty-eight (48) hours are strictly subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • This policy will not apply for our Black Friday sale or clearance sales. Any and all orders canceled up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to the Black Friday sale or clearance sales will automatically be subject to the 15% restocking fee.
